Audi revealed the details of the RS 6 Avant on December 5, 2012. The Third Generation RS6 Or The C7 Model Was First Showcased To The Worlds Motoring Press And Their Company's Eager Buyers At The 2013 Detroit Auto Show, With This All New Audi RS6 To Offer The Ultimate In Performance, Combined With Up To Date Motoring Technology, That Made This Audi An Instant Global Hit Over Night. The C7 Was To Follow The Same Design Brief That Had Been So Successful In The First Two Generations, But Was Now Fitted The All New Four Litre Twin-Turbo V8 Engine.
The RS6 Avant Performance is powered by the same 4.0-litre TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine as the standard RS6, but with the help of a retuned ECU mapping, it increased power output to 597 bhp at 6100-6800 rpm and increased torque to 750 N⋅m (553 lbf⋅ft) at 2500-5500 rpm. While the top speed remains limited to 155 mph, the 0 to 60 time has been reduced to just 3.7 seconds and the 0 to 200 km/h (124.3 mph) to 12.1 seconds.
