The redesigned XK or X150 model first debuted in 2005 at the Frankfurt motor show in Germany and was styled by jaguar's chief designer Ian Callum. The XK combined extreme performance, renowned luxury and relevant technology, intuitively expressed to connect the driver to the car and the car to the road. World class technology is empowering but at the same time never over powers the driving experience and this successful recipe has now meant that this model has acquired new status, of a credible modern-day classic jaguar, due to the last cars offered in the July of 2014 and the sad end of the XK brand. Following on from the 2009 ever-so subtle facelift, the x150 XK was now fitted with a monstrous 5 litre v8 that produced a whopping 510bhp that replaced the outgoing 4.2 litre v8. Alongside the major engine change, smaller alterations were made to the X150 reprofiled front bumpers, mirrors with integrated led indicators, new rear valance, led tail lights and colour-coded side vents. The 0-60 time was also brought down to an astonishingly quick 4.6 seconds, yet still offered that same jaguar comfort that we've all come to know and love.
This truly stunning XKR convertible was first registered by Jaguar in March 2012 and since then has covered minimal miles, totalling at 28416. Throughout its life our example has been maintained to the very highest of standards with a services completed by Jaguar Main Dealer Agents at the following miles, 2279, 5814, 9822, 14355, 19469 and 24179. The car has had only 2 owners since new with the last owning the from July 2012.
