The Maserati Quattroporte is part of a story that dates back over 100 years. It’s a story of endurance. Of embracing challenge. Of going the distance and winning. And doing it all in audacious Italian style. In 1963, Maserati made a remarkably bold move, introducing the first ever luxury sports sedan. It took a successful V8 motor racing engine, fitted it to a beautifully designed luxury sedan and then proudly presented its creation to the world. It was brand new. The fastest sedan in the world at the time. This was the birth of the legendary Quattroporte.
Fast forward to present day and we are here with the sixth generation Quattroporte. Updated for 2018MY cars to receive a differing front bumper and grille inspired by the Alfieri concept car, with the design altering dependent on which of the three available trim options you selected. Further updates come in the form of Maserati's latest multimedia display screen, complete with a rotary controller that operates in an iDrive-esque manner features, while the suite of electronic driver aids hitherto shunned by Maserati have been upgraded for level two autonomy.
Our car is the Gransport model that offers a more distinctive and sporty appearance than the base model as well as a higher level of options. The Gransport comes as standard with a whole host of desirable upgrades over the entry car with the pick of the bunch being the 21" forged alloy wheels, sport steering wheel with active paddles, the exterior Gransport styling kit, red painted brake calipers and sport seating.
