Ever since 1954 Mercedes has offered its ever growing clientele the luxurious SL-Class. When 2013 came around it was time for Mercedes to offer a new model and then came the R321 SL. Having been formally launched at the 2012 North American International Auto Show the R321 would be produced on the same basis of all SL's before, to maximise luxury and offer a superb all-round grand-touring hard-top convertible. With the introduction of this new model came an all-new all aluminium body shell which offered a huge weight reduction with it weighing approximately 110KG than if a steel shell was used as with previous models making the new R321 SL a more agile car that would tackle corners with greater ease than ever before. In 2014 Mercedes-Benz introduced the SL400 to its company line-up with this replacing the SL350. It would come with a 3 litre V6 engine unit that produces 328bhp and a torque figure 369lbs/ft which was an increase on the outgoing SL350 in both categories. This resulted in the SL400 shooting from 0-60 in just 5.2 seconds and will further glide to a limited top speed of 155mph, more than enough to put a smile on your face whether the roofs up or down.
Our fabulous SL400 was first supplied in March 2015 and since this date has covered just 10549 miles. During this period of time until present our example has completed a service at 5086 miles at Mercedes-Benz Sinclair. Prior to leaving us the SL will have another service completed by our fully trained and knowledgeable workshops and will be presented to the next lucky keeper with both keys, the Owners Manual Book Pack and Factory Build Card listing all those important options.
